Founded in March 2, 1995 as a sole proprietorship engaged in construction, ARN Builders was first issued in general contractor’s license of category Small “D” with a contracting capacity of only P3 Million per project. With a scanty capitalization of P150,000.00, it had managed to construct a total of P347.7 Million worth of project contract costs (directed and sub-contract) from March 1995 to October 1997. On October of 1997 it achieved a gigantic leap to a license category of Medium “A” with a corresponding maximum contracting capacity of P25 Million. Subsequently, it has dramatically increased its capitalization of P9.08 Million. With constant dedication, honesty, perseverance and hard work, it had accomplished the construction of P124.35 Million worth of direct contract projects from the government and private sector. It was during this period from October 1997 to December 2000 that the company’s growth was remarkable and an enormous increase of its total assets is assessed at P14.50 Million by the end of December 2000. At the same time, the company has proven its financial stability with a net worth of P13.2 Million (audited). It was then that the company simultaneously established its name and its overall credit standing with its suppliers, service providers and financial institutions to a bigger and better location at The Rivergate Commercial Complex, Cebu City.

One of the significant achievements of the company is the issuance of the Category “AA” contractor’s license in July 2001 by the Philippine Contractors’ Accredited Board (PCAB). At present, it has a maximum contracting capacity of about P500 Million. Its net worth is assessed at P104 Million (audited) as of December 31, 2006. This is based on its highly remarkable gross operating revenues generated from its completed and on-going projects worth P650.42 Million.

After having achieved such outstanding accomplishment reflected on a short span of time, the company realized one of its biggest dreams – the license of Category AAA awarded by the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board on 28th of January 2003.

This achievement places the company at par with country’s renowned construction firms and other similar contractors operating in the country with international capacity.

At present, much of its work force and other manpower support are concentrated in its existing projects of several roads, bridges, office and residential buildings, water system and other infrastructure in Manila, Davao, Bohol, Cebu Iloilo, Bukidnon, Leyte, Samar and the Surigao Provinces. Thus, in cumulative summary ending in December 2006, its projects contract costs have reached a gross amount of P2.48 Billion, including the on-going contracts worth P289.94 Million. Forward looking, it projects bigger revenues in the coming years.
