SURVEY SPECIALISTS, INC. (SSI), which was established in December 1988, is a Company duly registered and existing under Philippine laws, offering a broad range of marine surveys. The Company is the principal surveyor for Pandiman Philippines, Inc., the Philippine correspondent for various P&I Clubs worldwide. Survey Specialists, Inc. is staffed with competent surveyors, well experienced in all types of marine surveys, with each surveyor equipped with top-of-the-line surveying instruments and communication facilities in order to urgently attend to our clients' request at any time and in any place within the Philippine archipelago.
In 1990, Messrs. Maersk-Filipinas, Inc. appointed SSI their surveyors for condition surveys of vessels and containers. Furthermore, in 1992, SSI was accredited with the Norwegian Hull Club, a hull underwriter in Bergen, Norway, and have been appointed Flag State Surveyors/Nautical Inspectors by the Administration of Marshall Islands Antigua and Barbuda West Indies to conduct safety inspections for registered vessels calling at the Philippines.
Members of our staff have attended seminars conducted in Norway by both the Norwegian Hull Club and the Skuld P + I Club and, here in the country, seminars regarding Pre-Entry Condition Survey and Emergency Response.
