Decolux™ mouldings, cornices and baseboards are suitable for all interior applications. Its MDF resin bonded fiber makes it highly moisture and impact resistant, ideal for use in steamy or occasionally damp areas such as bathrooms, laundries or kitchens. They can easily be fixed with nails, staples, screws and adhesives using standard techniques. A convenient material to work with, it can be painted, stained and clear-finished just like regular wood pieces. Overall, the density and smooth surface of the material gives it a better and finer finish.
Decolux architectural mouldings, baseboards and cornices are made of premium grade MDF resin bonded fiberboard. Decolux MDF mouldings are manufactured to precise tolerances to present a profile of uniform density and stability. Its fine homogenous structure gives a smooth, 100% consistent finish unachieved by ordinary wood pieces. To add, Decolux architectural mouldings, baseboards and cornices are technically designed to withstand the effects of temperature variations and ultraviolet light and maintain very low thickness swell when subjected to occassional wetting from condensation or spillage.
